The First-ever Wearable Prototype to Prevent Premature Ejaculation

Development of the first wearable prototype by Morari Medical can help males to deal with the problem of premature ejaculation (PE).

Among adult men, almost thirty percent have to face the problem of premature ejaculation. That is one of the common sexual dysfunctions in males. San Diego Sexual Medicine and Morari Medical have joined hands to carry out research on the wearable prototype.

Though premature ejaculation is the leading sexual dysfunction in men, many of them avoid talking about it. Jeff Bennett is an expert in the Medical Device Industry and the mastermind behind Morari Medical company.

He observed that using neuromodulation for the development of a wearable prototype is a realistic approach to affect the nerve transmission between ejaculatory nerves and the brain and deal with the problem of PE.

In addition to its role in premature ejaculation, neuromodulation is also known as an effective way for the treatment of many other medical issues.

According to Dr. Goldstein, premature or early ejaculation is one of the common reasons for which couples seek sex therapy. And approximately sixty percent of the men experiencing this problem wish to avoid rapid ejaculation at some point in their life.

But the current treatments available for PE are disappointing for being messy and inconvenient, and for interfering with the partner’s experience. In the first quarter of this year, Morari Medical company established by Jeff Bennett will collaborate with San Diego Sexual Medicine to carry out a study for testing this first wearable prototype. The findings of the research will facilitate the company in the release of this product to treat PE.

The product is expected to be released commercially in the year 2021.
