Wilson Roosevelt Jerman is one of the longest-serving employes of White House who served eleven presidents as a butler, cleaner, and doorman since 1957, has died. Fox 5 DC reported that he has died of coronavirus.
He joined White House in 1957 when Dwight D. Eisenhower was president. He held jobs there first as a housekeeper afterward a doorman, and butler. Jamila Garrett is the oldest granddaughter of Wilson Roosevelt Jerman who told Fox 5 that he served as a cleaner during the Eisenhower administration.

Garret says that Jacqueline Kennedy was the first lady who elevated his grandfather as a butler in the White House during her administration. She said, “She was instrumental in ensuring that that happened.”
